Corrected background music delivery so browsers receive a recognized MPEG-4 media file.
Update 52New background music
Changed
Replaced the background song with the newly selected two-minute track; existing Sound and music-volume controls still apply.
Update 51Starter armies and consistent formations
Added
Human, Orc, Undead and Elf formation bonuses unlock at 3, 6, 12 and 24 occupied squares. Track the next wave’s tiers beside your formation; survivors and summons do not add to the count.
Recruit Grave Slinger, Ash Whisper, Thorn Sentry, Fernbow and Dew Spark from Tier 1, each with two merge upgrades and original portraits.
Changed
Formation grids now face right on phones, tablets and desktop, with matching tutorial directions. Narrow screens can scroll to rear columns without shrinking troop squares.
Shaman joins the Orc starting roster at Tier 1 with its existing price, combat stats and finite evolved chants.
Faction shields now use distinct colors and bold crown, hammer, skull and leaf symbols across recruitment, formation counts, unit inspection and the roster.
Fixed
Keep faction details within the available screen space so the full explanation remains scrollable on phones.
Keep the Army and Battle inspector in one readable column, with tabs and live troop details fitting the dialog.
Keep formation controls and faction counts visible when phones are turned sideways.
Update 50Optional background play
Added
Turn off Auto-pause when hidden in Settings to keep playing when minimized or in another tab. Your choice is saved; manual and menu pauses still apply.
Update 49Spirit support and summoned troops
Added
Recruit Shaman, Skywatch Recruit, Rune Initiate and Bone Caller, with two merge upgrades each. Their evolved forms add finite spirit chants, anti-air damage, dispel shots and temporary Bone Minions.
Update 48Game music and nine-card recruitment
Added
Steel Against the Gale now repeats when Sound is enabled. Adjust Music volume in Settings, or set it to 0 to keep battle effects only.
Balance
Shared recruitment supply is now 9 base copies per unit family per player: 18 shared copies in a duel. Players can still acquire the full shared supply.
Update 47New unit families and merge abilities
Added
Horseman now evolves into Cavalry and Knight with an opening lance strike; Knight adds Brace. Ghoul and Revenant gain limited lifesteal, Revenant adds Last Stand, and evolved Gryphons punish isolated targets.
Five new merge families arrive: Rogue, Stonekin and Herbalist at Tier 3; Whelp and Bolt Cart at Tier 4, each with three distinct forms.
New abilities include poison and reduced healing, melee retaliation, limited cleansing and renewal, cone fire and burn, and piercing bolts. Inspect living units to see their remaining resources.
Update 46A shared field guide
Added
Read shared learning content in Help and the Radial Strike field guide, with unit evolutions, abilities, structures, interactions and update history tied to the same game release.
Update 45A clearer opening formation
Changed
Your formation grid opens for your opening army and stays visible through recruitment. Auto mode collapses it when you deploy; Pinned and Manual choices are respected.
The minimap is hidden by default to give the battlefield more room. Enable Show minimap in Settings → Display & audio when you want an overview and quick jumps.
Update 44Clearer controls and camera navigation
Changed
Recruitment controls use clearer labels, grouped actions and distinct free-reroll and active-toggle states. Settings now includes health bars and battle sound.
Find battle replaces the View menu. It recenters without changing zoom or restarting paused Auto-follow. The minimap is now visible for direct navigation.
Fixed
Unavailable toolbar actions explain their requirements, and closing Settings returns keyboard focus while keeping battle paused.
Update 43Welcome to Radial Strike
Changed
The game is now Radial Strike, with an RS medieval logo in match setup, the game and Workshop headers, and updated titles and download names.
The public game address is now radial-strike.hhayz.chatgpt.site.
Update 42Distinct abilities for merged units
Added
Hunter and Berserker build attack speed against the same troop. Stonewing gains a magic ward, and Obsidian Gargoyle shares its finite reserve with one nearby flyer. Catapult upgrades splash nearby ground troops.
Merging Peasants, Slingshotters, Apprentices, Acolytes and Peons now unlocks unique abilities: Block and cleave, extra reach and armor piercing, Chill, healing shields, and heavy sweeps.
Changed
Recruit details explain upcoming merge abilities, and battlefield inspection shows remaining shields, Focus stacks and shared ward protection. High Priest healing bounces to at most one extra ally at half strength; only the primary receives a shield.
Update 41A clearer opening view
Changed
New matches open with both main towers in view. Zooming out stops at this overview, while the existing zoom-in range stays available.
Update 40Game updates in Settings
Added
Expand earlier releases to see features, balance changes and fixes in one place.
Open Settings → Updates to read a dated history of game updates, with the newest release first.
Update 39Clearer midpoint ownership
Fixed
Only the midpoint's gold metal turns blue or red for the team earning bonus gold. Stone, moss and engraved details keep their original appearance.
Update 38Faster battles and card details
Added
Choose 3× and 4× game speeds.
Midpoint artwork changes color to show which team is earning bonus gold.
Changed
Recruit cards have a dedicated information button to open and close their details.
Update 36A new True Strike logo

The medieval True Strike logo now appears in match setup and the game and Workshop headers.
Update 35Welcome to True Strike
Changed
The game, Workshop, page titles and downloads are now named True Strike.
The public game has moved to true-strike.hhayz.chatgpt.site.
Update 33Discover enemies on the battlefield
Changed
Enemy placement grids and future formations are hidden in normal matches. Enemy troops become visible when they enter the battlefield.
Update 32Shared recruitment pool
Changed
Each participant contributes 18 cards per family to a shared match pool, with no personal cap.
Shop offers reserve cards, and rerolls draw from the remaining available copies. Merges and sales account for one, three or nine base copies.
Update 22Stronger main-base defenses
Changed
Main-base kills no longer award gold.
Balance
Both main bases have stronger defenses that can reach ground and flying units. Large upgraded armies can still overwhelm a base.
